Policies and Procedures

HEAG can help you document how you do,what you do. Schools must demonstrate that they have administrative capability when administering Title IV funds. It is the school’s responsibility to ensure that all Title IV requirements outlined in the Law and regulations are met. Federal regulations require schools to have written policies and procedures; however a manual is not required. However, experience shows that having a manual will assist the school in implementing and adhering to established procedures, assist with understanding how changes in regulations will effect operations, and will assist and streamline audit and program review experience. Finally, a good manual can be useful to staff as a reference tool and training guide. Call HEAG to help you.
